Interview | Erin McFeely
Erin McFeely is Head of Strategic Initiatives at Alchemy Technology Services, based in Derry.
Born and raised in Derry she left for Leeds to study and has since returned to her hometown five years ago to take up a position at Alchemy. Erin’s role at Alchemy is varied, supporting their community partnerships, linking with schools universities and colleges and promoting the great opportunities for careers in tech in the North West.
Erin says there’s a real buzz about the place that wasn’t there when she left for university and she feels that’s what makes it such a lovely place to live and work!
The quality of life here has been great. House prices here are so much lower than they were in England, so we’ve been able to settle in really quickly in a place that we love. Location wise it’s great, we are a 10 minute walk or drive from school or work, we are never far away from a family member or a place to go and play and we love taking our drives down to the coast at the weekend.
